The RASE plays a leading role in the development of British agriculture and a vibrant rural economy through the uptake of good science, the promotion of best practice and a co-ordinated, impartial approach to wide-ranging rural issues. Today our work includes support for business and social welfare in rural communities, education, and the staging of a wide range of technical shows and events.

This activity builds on our proud history of supporting farming and rural industries by encouraging knowledge transfer, technical development and best practice.  With the continuing support of our members, RASE can be an innovator, a catalyst for change and a sounding board for new ideas – a true independent voice speaking on behalf of farming and rural England.

Our vision is to be a ‘charitable organisation of national and international standing dedicated to agriculture, land management, the well being of rural communities, and to shaping a strong rural economy.’
